We have been focussing on Wow said the owl, Rumble in the jungle, Autumn and Halloween.
We have been lucky to have our lovely Andrea from Bloom North Devon join us with themes such as On the farm, Autumn animals and halloween. The children have enjoyed dressing up, our usual bloom songs some with a halloween twist and messy play.
We have had the opportunity to explore our outside environment walking up to the park and forest area. We collected lots of autumn objects to use for arts and crafts as well as developing our physical skills .
We have been exploring various textures and craft resources creating their own masterpieces. We have made some hedgehogs using the leaves we collected from the forest, autumn wreaths and free painting.
Our last week of October we explored spooky season with lots of crafts making: pumpkins, bats, ghosts with a variety of different resources including paint, crayons and glue, We have taken part in lots of dancing activities, copying familiar moves around the nursery room.
