Hello and welcome to another monthly blog from Lovacott Nursery! This month, we explored the theme of Firework Night, creating vibrant fireworks pictures using a variety of materials. We also commemorated Remembrance Day by crafting fields of poppies with rollers and sponges. In support of Children in Need, we raised some money by both children and staff wearing their pyjamas and engaged in numerous Pudsey activities, including baking biscuits, making masks, and exploring different textures in our Pudsey sensory tray.
Additionally, the children have been learning about road safety. They painted their own road signs and practised their scissor skills by cutting out various coloured shapes to create traffic lights. We also enjoyed some baking, making a delightful traffic light tray bake, where the children followed instructions and helped weigh and mix the ingredients.
