This month at Happy Hares we have focused on the topics of ‘Stories & Books’, ‘Space’, and ‘Science’.
We celebrated World Book Day with an exciting trip to our local bookshop! And of course, we were also busy making cards for the special people in our lives for Mother’s Day.
We were very ‘egg-cited’ when our nursery chickens, Hilary and Tinker, laid their first eggs of the year! And this prompted some impromptu baking and cooking sessions where we made yummy fairy cakes and some scrambled egg.
This month the children enjoyed making a giant cardboard box rocket, making their very own lava lamps, practising their numbers, and of course, spending lots of time outdoors making the most of some dry, sunny days!
April will see us focusing on ‘Spring’, ‘Gardening’, ‘Easter’, and ‘My Body/Self-Care’. It’s going to be a busy month!
