This month, we have had lots to celebrate, including Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year! At the beginning of the month, we looked at The Gruffalo story, which included us going for a woodland walk and exploring a Gruffalo crumble tuff tray.
For Valentine’s Day, we created a Valentine’s card for someone we love and we baked and decorated heart biscuits. The following week was Chinese New Year and Pancake Day. We were very lucky to try some Chinese food and learn about their traditions. We also enjoyed some yummy pancakes, topped with lots of fruit!
February has been a cold rainy month, but has left us with lots of opportunities to jump in puddles and play in our mud kitchen. We look forward to the beginning of Spring in March as we see the daffodils grow along the field.
