We have been treated to some glorious weather throughout July and have taken full advantage of the outside area including our surrounding areas, the park and forest area.
This month we have taken part in various topics including: summer, ice cream, gardening and enjoyed our summer party. The children have had the opportunity to make their own ice creams, passports and get involved in lots of messy play.
During outside play we have turned our bus into an airline and have been discussing where we are travelling to using our passports. We have also spent some time brightening up the garden by planting some small plants in pots and talking about how we can care for them.
Towards the end of July we had our summer party. All the children had lots of fun: showing their families their nursery environment, exploring the toys along with some special guests. The children had the opportunity to create lots of mess with some exciting science experiments. They also had Merlin from the milkyway teaching them lots of magic tricks from juggling to spinning plates. Thank you all for coming to our summer party we all had a great time 😁
