Lovacott Nursery Staff

I have worked in the Early Years sector for many years now. Since I left school, I have been lucky enough to have worked in a variety of early years settings in various roles ranging from Baby Room Supervisor, Two-Year-Old Supervisor and Deputy manager I have worked between Happy Hare’s and Lovacott since 2020 but have been permanently based here since September 2023.  I am now the Co-Manager of Lovacott Nursery alongside Claire.

You will see me three days a week on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. 

My Early Years career began straight after school, qualifying with a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education 0-18 years. I have been very lucky to have worked in a variety of settings, with my position ranging from Nursery Nurse, Room Supervisor, Deputy Manager and ‘stand in’ manager. I have worked at Lovacott Nursery since June 2020, I became Deputy Manager here in 2021 until going on maternity leave in 2024. On my return I have now taken up the role as Co-Manager alongside Gemma.

You will see me three days a week on Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s. 

I completed my Childcare Level 2 qualification as soon as I left school, then I continued in education, completing my Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I progressed to completing my Early Years Foundation degree in Early Childhood. I have worked across both settings but have been a key worker at Lovacott since August 2020.

I have completed my level 3 diploma for the early years workforce, this is something I have always wanted to do since leaving school and now that my children are a bit older I have the opportunity to get it done!

I enjoy working with children with additional needs and love to see them reach their goals and grow into the fantastic little people they are.

When I’m not at work I’m either enjoying spending time with my 2 wonderful children or on the farm milking cows!

I began working at Lovacott Nursery following many years in various childcare settings as well as working as a private nanny. I then became part of the core team at the sister nursery Happy Hares setting up and building the business for six years. It was whilst I was there that I completed my NVQ 3 childcare qualification.

I have a huge passion for books and believe they are a magical and vital part of a child’s early year’s development.

Travelling and working in Australia has increased my love for nature and the outdoors. I believe time outside is an essential for a child’s physical development and wellbeing. I am delighted to return to Lovacott nursery and be part of the children’s time here.

I worked at our sister setting Happy Hares in the baby room for over a year before moving to Lovacott in March 2025. I enjoy working in Early Years as I find it so rewarding to observe and help children meet their developmental milestones, however big or small they are. I am currently completing my Level 3 Early Years Educator Course and I am looking to progress onto my Level 5 Early Years in the future. I look forward to working with all the children and staff here at lovely Lovacott!
