What a great start to 2021, we are so pleased to see so many smiley, happy children return to nursery!!
This week the children have been talking about the chilly, cold weather and noticed ice on the toys outside. We have extended this interest with activities based around winter!
From decorating our very own igloo, creating snowmen pictures and mark making using coloured ice cube sticks.
We have also been learning about ‘cause and effect’, exploring potato starch ‘snow’ and watching it melt with water, building on our senses to create sensory bags, watching bread rolls rise and bake, using our hands to ‘pop’ the bubble wrap and getting messy using the ‘Gelli Baff’.
