This month of July has been quite eventful for us. We focused on two main topics: ‘Vikings’ and ‘On the Farm’. We also celebrated a graduation party for the children moving on to ‘Big School’ in September.
During our Vikings theme, the children made helmets, jewellery, and boats, while discovering that Vikings were also farmers. This seamlessly transitioned into our ‘On the Farm’ project, where we enjoyed playing with themed tuff trays and learning about various farm animals, including their habitats, diets, and sounds they make.
We also spent a lot of time outdoors (getting very mucky!), we practiced our phonics, worked on our ICT skills and made some wonderful woodwork creations.
