August at Lovacott nursery has been a busy one, we celebrated our Pre-Schoolers leaving with a fantastic Graduation party, the children have also participated in our Lovacott sports day where they got to do lots of activities including hurdles, weaving, bean bag throw, penalty shoot out and egg and spoon race. The children adapted speed and direction to enable them to complete these games. The children then all received their own certificate and medals. We have also done multiple dinosaur activities linking to our story of the ‘Bumpus, Jumpus Dinosaurumpus’. We’ve created our own spotty dinosaurs, explored colours and textures with cereal sensory tray and stampers.
The children then got a surprise visit from the fire brigade where they were able to try on a helmet and have a look around the fire engine!
