April has been a busy month with a mixture of weather along with many engaging and exciting topics.
We have had lots of opportunities to develop our gross motor skills with lots of outdoor play, walks, obstacle courses and using the bikes to increase their spacial awareness.
We have been learning about all kinds of vegetables, exploring a vegetable patch, cutting them up and breaking the ice to reveal vegetables.
We have celebrated Easter with lots of egg hunts, creating easter cards using a fork and paint to make a chick and making their own easter cakes.
We have had a week exploring dinosaurs which is a particular interest of our children. They have used tools to break free the dinosaurs from the ice and made their own salt dough dino footprints.
April has been another lovely busy month at Lovacott with lots of valuable learning opportunities and fun!
