TRINA
We would like to say a massive congratulations to our employee of the month for May, the amazing Trina.
Trina works predominantly with the pre-school children and has made amazing bonds with all of our older children; she has worked incredibly hard at getting them school ready as well as effectively supporting those children who need a little bit of extra support with their learning and development. She is extremely, caring, conscientious and committed to her role and plans many original and exciting activities for the children; often using her key children’s specific interests to create resources in order to engage them further. Her ideas often inspire the rest of us!
We are really proud of Trina for firstly completing her NVQ level 3 with Petroc in record time but also, she continues to self-motivate herself to develop and learn as an individual; frequently attending on-line courses in her spare time. She has been passionate about supporting Rosie in her role as SENDCo and consequently has developed many new skills and gained extensive knowledge in working with the SEND children; often role-modelling her strategies to other staff.
Trina is also the queen of woodwork and the woodwork shack; the children love their sessions with her and increasingly show their competence and confidence with wood work skills whilst taking part in a range of woodwork activities with her. She has also made a whole range of amazingly creative authentic wooden resources for the setting which would rival any Etsy store. We are very lucky to have such a talented and committed practitioner at Happy Hares.
